Welcome to the last Quarter! It'll be an exciting quarter that will bring the State Testing beginning the end of April, May Day, Graduation, and more.

At the beginning of the year, I shared the values of Pili (connect/close), Pa'a (firm/tight), and Pono (righteousness/balance). These values are continuing to hold true as we grow as an academy school and explore how all classes support the learning of priority standards through Learning Targets and success Criteria.  

We also have a HUGE focus on our Dragon PRIDE (Passion, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence) Behavior Expectations. This quarter we are starting with the value of Determination. Take some time to think and reflect on what Determination is, how you can identify it in others, as well as yourself.  We will have some awards at the end of this quarter for Determination and Excellence.

April 22 - ELA Smarter Balance Testing Begins

April 29 - Math Smarter Balance and HSA Science Testing Begins

May 6 - Biology End of Course Exam Begins

May 10 - May Day 

May 25 - Graduation at 9am

May 27 - Memorial Day - No School

May 30 - Last Day for Students
